There are plenty of golf courses that Florida has to offer whether you are a professional player or a golf enthusiast. Some would even argue that Florida is considered the ‘golf capital of the world.’ It is the home of many private and public golf courses offering a variety of amenities and shops.

2. TPC Sawgrass (Stadium)
This gorgeous golf course is located between Jacksonville and St. Augustine. It has a mixture of a small-town vibe and the city hood’s glamor. The place also offers a picturesque setting for some romantic wedding events. The Dye’s Valley Course is designed by Pete Dye and Bobby Weed and Jerry Plate as a player consultant. This course has been in service for over three decades now. It has become the main event place for some professional golf tournaments in Florida. The Player Stadium Course is another course offered by this place which was designed to give fans some real piece of the ground action during game time.

3. Seminole
This is a private golf course designed by Donald Ross. This course has about 18 holes which stretch for 6787 in length. It also has 145 slopes which adds excitement and challenge to players. It is considered one of the most exclusive clubs in the world.

4. Calusa Pines Golf Club
This is a member-only private golf club, or by-invitation golf club that boasts a beautiful combination of ridges and green grass across native vegetation. It has been vested by Gold Digest as one of the ‘Top Ten Best New Private Clubs’ in the United States. The course is designed by Michael Hurdan and Dana Fry. The members of the club are aimed to be less than 300 making it more exclusive. The joining fee according to some reports is around $150,000 per member.

5. Mountain Lake
This beautiful golf course was originally designed by Seth Raynor, a legend when it comes to designing golf courses. It was later improved by Gil Hanse, a renowned architect in the golf industry. This is an 18-hole golf course offering some challenging terrains for players. Apart from golf, Mountain Lake Florida also offers a great place for tennis and croquet enthusiasts.
